If that boat isn't bouncing off of a wave, it sure is pretty high out of the water with that setup.

There is no "plowing" going on with the front of the boat, all of the spray is comming off near the rear.

I can't remember for sure if Darris said they purchased a 6 cyl. or v-8 @ the same time they purchased the 4 cyl. engine but he was telling me that when they called Mercury to tell them the speeds they were getting with the 4 cyl., Mercury thought they were talking about the 6 or 8 cylinder engine, Mercury couldn't believe the speeds they obtained with the 4-cyl..

I wouldn't swear too it, but seems like I recall Nancy saying that that pic was actually of her and Darris in that boat???

An Allison Is Hard To Restore, You Dont Ake Apart You Cut Apart Very Well Built
