Casey, I don't think there is any easy way, unless you have some third-party video editing software.

Why do you want to convert it to MPEG?

casey,
I have the same camera as you and ran into the same problem (I hate realplayer).

I use a program that is called blink and smacker to convert the mov to mpg. Its a free download so its worth a try.

btw, i found no way to shoot in mpg format.

greg i don't have a problem with quick time, but a lot of people don't have it so it makes it difficult on them to view videos when i up load them on the web.

john i'll look into that

Cool videos! I see that camera does a great job - how do you like it so far?

I can't load the second and third images - I'm going to check to see if it's a problem with the forum.

for a cheap camera that i got to take to the river i'm very impressed. i've always had sony's in the past, no comparison. now if it was just water proof ;)

i edited those pics that's why they were gone for a second

I think there is a waterproof housing available for that camera :)

I can load the attachments now - great photos. You may want to download Irfanview - an amazing and free image editor. www.irfanview.com (http://www.irfanview.com)

Good luck with the new camera!
