Lake Eustis boat races?

When are they going to have them this year or are they? Havn't seen any info on it yet. What classes are they having this year? Last year they had the V-8 inboard drags for the first time and was wondering if they were going to be there again?

the eustis drags will not take place this year, it is a shame, the previous organizer needed to retire, and no one picked up the torch, so they are done....:(
however, a few of the inboards have made their way to fbi....

That really bites. I looked forward to that every year. It is a perfect place with a perfect viewing spot and playground for the kids. I hope someone realizes what they had and picks it back up again. I guess I will have to check them out in Georgetown and Crecent City now. Where in Georgetown are they held at?

about 6 months of almost full time work and promotion (locally gathering sponsors, lining up fuel, insurance, permits, docks, help etc...) oh yeah, and about 10k, (one of the reasons eustis always payed so well)....I really did consider doing it myself, its just impossible for me to get the free time to take care of it all.....
