Center Horn and Noise??????

Will adding a center horn make my motor any louder? I have to think of my wife. I have the 1" spacer from SST Marine, that I am installing.

I've had carbed motors and EFI's....I believe I hear more reed and intake noise off the carbed motors. (air box off)

Then again, I love the sound of air and fuel entering the mota:D

My 1991 Carb 2.5 stock 200 is quiter than my friends 1988 2.4 EFI. If I take the airbox off mine, will it give me an idea of what it might sound like with a center horn?
