This Itasca oil page ad appeared in Hot Boat in January, 1995. Anyone recognize who that guy is? :) ;)

I think that's because Itasca is Pennzoil (synthetic) now. Not 100% sure though.

Quaker State bought out Itasca from the Myatt family in Shrevesport, La. , Pennzoil then later bought out Quaker State , same 2 stroke formula that has an EXXON polymer base stock bought from EXXON CHEMICALS in Baytown, Texas .........

Thats when I had blonde hair Greg now its gray ;) ........

The oil remains a bargin as in 10 + years it has remained the same price... Thats about the ONLY thing in the Outboard Products World that I can think of that has not went to the moon with inflated pricing......
