Just go to your local Bombardier dealer and get the real stuff. Why settle for the cheap imitations.:D

You were'nt surprised at that were you? Just typical gouging.

check out part number 98717, my current favorite for price gouging. These are the spacers that hold the injectors off the block, they are a hair over 20 EACH,....... you need 12 = 240 bucks. I can buy 2 feet of it from mcmaster carr for 1.89, in delrin!

I have found that a lot of what Merc sells is easily substituted by other things. Water pipes for one thing. As far as paint I have a local paint supplier that can scan any surface that is allready painted and match me up with a base coat that is identical and far less $$$ than an aerosol can from Merc. It goes on alot better with a spray gun anyway.

Most motors I come in contact with only use 6 of those spacers  ( 98717 ) .......

Looks cool EH!.
I must say that 20 bucks for a can of paint was rather spendy, but I have never had pain in a can lay down this good!. In person it looks wet!

Plasticoat makes a medium blue metalflake in their truck and van paint that is pretty much identical to the merc racing blue and only cost $4.99 a can. Also looks wet when dry and dries pretty fast. I get it from Advanced Auto Parts. Beats $20.00 + a can and you don't have to order it.

RBT:

That looks so good that even Prime Minister Stephen Harper would be proud to display it at the next (blue) Tory convention.;)

I have the extra horsepower, I painted it hemi orange underneith, and then decided to make it a sleeper and paint it blue.... you know a wolf in sheeps clothing.
