is that the stratos I've seen in the get-together photos? What kind of top end do you get out of that thing?

With a bone stock 200 she'd run 68. My motor was flat but ran all the time so I left it alone. Just bought the 260 and haven't run it yet. I'll let you know.

I have a friend who has worked for OMC for over 20years,and still does(factory service rep) they owned Stratos boat co. till the latest break up . He wanted them to build him a light weight race boat so he could drag race it. They would not -- they were sued a few times successfully because they Hooked in turns. The Molds were chrushed .Keep it straight.

I was fortunate enough to hear in advance about the hooking. I have tried a few times to get mine to hook without success....I wonder if it was a problem with the 18 footer and hopefully not as bad with the 20 footer. Another season ahead with more HP. I'll try and keep her straight.

I had the same boat with 6" to 8" set back with a heavy omc. Hooking only happens under hard turns.Those boats are VERY VERY HEAVY. Good Looking but_____. I like the empty beer can holder built into the dash. Nice touch.I is good when the marine police don't see the trash.

Mine stores a case 2 bags of ice and drains water off the side. The lightening up process is in progress. Something lighter each year.
