What pitch on Scarab CC

Have a 30 foot scarab CC and am going to be putting on 250 Yamahas and ideas what pitch I should be running????????

what kind of speed should i expect with that???? and ive heard i can run a 24P Allison cut big ear chopper??????

I'd like to know what you end up with and how it works out. I also have a 30 Scarab CC currently with a pair of Evinrude 235's (two thirsty five's). Currently they have 15x17 on them. I think I need a little more. According to Wellcraft they sent the the 30's out with T-200 Yamaha props and 13 3/4 X 23 Laser II or T-250 Yamaha props and 14 1/2 X 25. Good luck.

22 pitch and if your lucky maybe 24 pitch

My brother has the same boat he runs 22 omc rakers it will pull 24s but perfoms much better allaround with 22s.Depends on how high your gong to run them and how your loading up the boat.Dave

Mirage plus props run the best on that hull. I have one freind with 200 2.5s on his and runs the Mirage 21s and the other one has 225 3.0l with 23s You will not find a better prop for that hull than the Mirage.

My Sport Scarab witha Performance Marine bracket and twin 250 Merc offshores has mirage plus with 23 pitch and when aired out will touch the limiters @ 61 on gps.

My 34 Sportfish will run 23p Mirage Plus's up to the rev limiter with Merc 250xs's high 50's
