The 'sister' X-Stream to my boat. They were made together, but this one was relegated to the outside rack for a few years while mine sat in storage. I almost bought this, but got Jim Wheaton (JW) a deal on it so he bought this one and sold it.

These images were taken in February of 2000 (I believe) when Jim came to pick it up. It was veerrryyy cold that day.

I know he'll post more information, but I wonder where this is now.

Cold did not describe that day! It was FREEZING!! Greg hooked me up with this project Valero. Brand new never rigged, sat at Busters for years unloved and forgotten. I drove from Michigan to NY, met Greg at the dealership, and made the deal.

My plan was to rig it and use it, but before I got her done I ran out of interest and money. I sold the rigged boat to a man named John from Grand Rapids Michigan. He installed a brand new Merc 175 on it. It scared his wife, and he had too many toys, so he sold the motor and then the boat/trailer to someone else.

The million dollar question is, WHO HAS IT NOW?? Whatever happened to my project Valero?

I still remember how cold it was that day. I liked that boat a lot too - I should have purchaed it to make it a "part two" to my boat.

I remember JW picking that boat up like it was yesterday.

I want to know where my Valero is too! Mine was in the family for a long time.

What's with the ropes from the transom across the bow?

Probably cover supports, so rain doesn't sag the cover down.

In the transom view, what's with the drinkholder to the right? You can never have enough drinkholders and this one can be used from the water.

That's not a drink holder, it's a rigging grommet. The control wires and cables come out of that hole.

Sometimes, you got to set your priorities.

NEVER ENOUGH, I'm thinking of having GPI cut 7 or 8 more holes on the inside (AND outside) of my new boat !!!! Scott :D :D :D

The ropes were the beginning of the blue plastic shrink wrap I had them do before I left for the long drive back to Michigan. I should have let it rain/snow/sleet inside instead! The road grime got up under the cover and I spent HOURS rubbing the corners of the deck back out to get rid of the brown scratchs. Every time I see a bunch of new boats going down the road, I wonder how long it takes the dealer to fix the minute dirty scratchs the covers cause.

C'mon Michigan members, anyone know the whereabouts of this hull??

I remember you telling me about that. You drive that boat a long way to get it home. I really like the looks of the color scheme it has.

Boat has been found and is keeping Jim Craddock happy in Minnesota. I'm pretty sure he's a member here.
