ski pole for mirage

Just picked up 96 mirage. Iam 52 and I feel like 20 today. Kids are growen up and I can go fast again.
I know this sounds crazy,but has anyone put a ski pole in a four seat mirage. Also it only has a 20 gal fuel tank. Should I carry extra jugs or does someone make a larger tank?

My last Ski Racer had an alun 25 gallon and my 98' River Racer was rigged with a 28 gallon plastic tank. I have seen Ski poles on the Mirages. Either it has to be taller than the motor or go behind the motor like a Hydrodyne outboard.

Whats your fuel concern? I could make an 80 mile round trip with the 260 on 23 gallons running pretty hard. Congrats on the new Mirage. Mike

What i did to my river racer with merc drag was made a small plate that bolted to the exhaust plate 7/16"bolt on rear(ones that hold plate to mid exhaust housing).could pull footers up in no time with 22 pitch yamy drag:p

I still have V8 Rude.It will burn 50 gals in no time. I just thought 20 gal tank was a little light for Merc 260.
