If I can remember this thread, I'll post some pictures of it in the water. I need to scan them into the computer first, and when I leave in the morning I won't be home until Thursday.

That is at Peoria, IL. It was rough but Jeff was making it much worse for himself by hooking the boat at that turn several times. I have some more photos from that race at home, one of them is where he almost took the Pepsi boat out.

I'll post them when I get home, Mike

:D so I've heard. My boat is a very heavy layup. I since switched from a 6" to a 10" jackplate and I don't need anywhere near as much trim to get it flying. Gained about 4-5 mph also. Still have a slight walking problem at top speed I have'nt got to the bottom of yet. Im still working on the setup , so far everything that has worked for me is the opposite of what other guys with lasers say works for them. The only thing Im sure of right now is I dont want an enema.

How bad is your walking problem and at what speed?

natzx7
02-07-2006, 02:18 PM
It comes on very gently at about 85 or so and gets progessivley worse. I can sometimes drive some of it out or get rid of it by bumping the trim down. I raised my motor up some and that seemed to help, but I have not had good enough water to stretch it out yet. I am still in the beginning stage of this new stetup, so any input would be appreciated.

I'll snap a couple of pics tonight and send them to ya... !!!! It's wood framed with the inner cooler area glassed water tight. Not lightweight for sure. I'd like to replace it with a standard bench.....the extra wiggle-room would be nice.

Thanks for the offer but if it's big and wood I'm not interested. I was hoping I couldget something made from Stoker if it was glass. I guess I'll keep working on mine. Thanks again.

I appreciate the compliment.......It's definately old school compared to todays graphics....but thats fine....I'm an old fart. Eliminator does a hell of a job on gel. I get a lot of satisfaction resurrecting "yesterdays tech"....
No problem spotting her on the lake !!!!

We got it new in 85. The 300X is motor #4.

The best speed so far was one day with full tanks and 3 guys, 90.4 GPS running a 28" Bravo 1 @ 7000+.

It's set up to haul 400+ LBs in the front seats. Sorry I can't report more impressive #'s :o :o :o
