Merc Trim Gauge

What is the correct procedure for wiring the trim gauge up on a Merc?? ( I never use the gauge, but as it is fitted i should have it working)

Try these depending upon your configuration...............


Purple wire - +12vdc (switched usually)

Brown and White wire - From the trim sender (S)

Black wire - suitable ground (G)
