Bottesi L6 Piston Rings
In one of my recent projects I came across a Bottesi Piston which was installed in a powerhead I was tearing down. The piston was in great shape. The rings were removed and inadvertantly discarded. I now need to find a new correct set of rings.
It is a 2 ring style and the ring grooves are wider than the standard Direct charge merc pistons. I ordered Mahle rings for it and they fit in the grooves but the rings are Half Keystone type. However, the grooves in the piston are not tapered. Does anyone know if these are the correct rings or where I can get my hands on a set of rings for this piston brand?

1 Argentinian peso is 0.055 US dollar. They have some very hard to find pistons. Think Im going to try to order a few sets for some old Mercs I have.
