I would bet this is exactly why mragu. The Fulcrum with intended power options having the bench occupied with 2 or 3 adults to far aft would alter the pads function to greatly to achieve the desired performance. She is one sexy beast as she is though and I cant wait to hear and see some clips of her running some big numbers!!

Just thinking out loud now but say you did move or remove the brace to accommodate more aft seating to increase cockpit size. Wouldn't adding setback and or a little ballast in that bow tank maybe even the fuel a little more forward offset the CG to achieve some what desired results only perhaps requiring a little more power to reach the speed optimal stock form could? Im sure Marc has the buoyancy factor based on beam,LOA,Pad size, setup aerodynamics top and bottom as hes mentioned and materials all factored into an optimal lethal weapon but? For cost structure to standardize the model Im guessing is another big factor. After an initial run of production hulls im sure a phone call and money anything can be altered and developed when theirs more time to retool for a one off. Cha ching The inboard version will be insane cool. That would decrease the cockpit size further would it not? Maybe with the inboard the deck area is shortened a little to still accommodate CG or perhaps the pad area is a little defferant setup to support the greater mass? {IF} that later is the case as i know has been on some past manufacturers hulls that produced both variants, i wonder if combining a wider longer pad of a inboard hull in an outboard version would accommodate a more rearward bench with desired results? I know alot of IF but as i said I was just thinking out loud. I dont recall were and when but i seem to have read this being done before and it though took some doing was done with success if I recall correctly? Is is late so who knows if my DEEP thought is thinking straight! LOL

I believe we are only talking about moving the brace back 6''-12''. Unless you have two 300#'s sitting back there, the change would be very minor. My V-King is about as weight sensitive as they get, and putting two passengers on the rear bench just makes the boat ride better. You do have to be careful coming off plane. Unless you want a wet t-shirt contest in the back seat.

WOW what a sexy looking Hot rod!! I love the long deck! The cockpit area seems ample for sitting down. i know for me the only time even in a 20fter i wish i had more area in the cockpit is when theres more than one passenger floating around swimming with other boats. Other than that i could car less personally. There is already alot of weight aft with the deck design. i hear ya Xtream though theres obviously some things Marc had calculated and decided this would be best. I trust his judgment for sure and I mean just look how sweet this looks as is.

Exactly. Move the brace back 12" and call it a day. You'd get nice additional legroom and still a sunpad to sit on when rafting up. If that costs a few mph top end who cares.

That seems like a nice compromise.

I actually am moving my back seat forward a foot to get the passengers closer to CG instead of behind it. This will still make the center of the back seat about 1' behind CG instead of 2'. Previous owner said if he had family sitting back there he struggled getting on plane with twin 200 JohnnyRudes. I have the "couch" style seating, and it will still allow the people in the back seat to extend their legs fully without touching either front bucket, and the sunpad will actually be usable.

Here is the old interior. New interior to be done soon.

Sweet. Your sun pad looks about the same size as what I was thinking the Tuff could end up with.

When I run with a full load of gas, people, coolers, chairs etc. I use a thru hub tempest prop a couple of pitches less than the chopper I run for performance. Boat shoots out of the water with it, regardless of load.

Has anyone posted what a bare hull 24 costs or a hull with interior?
