dont know he hasnt got that far yet.....but its to fast for the general public with a 300 so he will have to build a hook in the bottom to keep it safe!!!!

Az, Had a 24 closed deck. 7' beam was/is pretty narrow and a stand up boat.

In looking at the new Tuff 24 again, I'm not seeing why that port to starboard crossbar could not be removed to open the cockpit area by another 3'. On a sit down boat like this one, I'd trade glassed in gussets on each side at that location for 3' more feet of usable space on a 90mph 23' hull.

Greg, Mark saif no go on the 24' but yes on the 28'. Maybe a cg issue on the 24? Look at the 28 Wildman is rigging, It looks to be about 3' that could be added to cockpit.

Interesting Mike. The Tuff 28 is 28'4" long and the deck itself is 17' from the bow to the top of the windscreen so that leaves about 11'.

Anyone hear of progress on the Tuff 24 build? Spring is around the corner. Well maybe a couple of corners up in Canada.

I have three boats currently. I have owned a bunch of boats over the years but not nearly the ultra fast stuff you guys out there have. I've had two Superboat 21's and a 24 though. Is it true that you are the single longest owner of a Superboat 21 in the United States? Very cool. The reason the new Tuff is of interest is that I converted my Ultra 23XS from I/O to O/B a few years ago. Went back and forth on the sunpad and ended up keeping it. In hindsight, not sure I would have done it that way.

On the Tuff the pictures may be deceiving and that sunpad area may be a lot less than what we ended up with on the Ultra 23. I'm sure Mark knows exactly what his target market is for the new 24 and has designed it accordingly. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished up.

Only 15,000 miles over ten years. You have too much garage space!
