need help with 281 checkmate w/twin mercs
i am looking for some one that may have a boat close to mine. i was wonder which would be better for top speed. the props turning outward or inward. i also have a gill bracket off the back, how low should the prop center line be under the hull. thanks

You might try Ocean Outboard too. They are in the process of setting up a new 30' with Twins. I've seen it and it looks really sweet.

thanks for the feed back, i just picked up the boat and tinkering right now since nice weather is just about over but trying to get some info for next year. i would like to get the boat to do a solid 70 on gps but a guy around here is telling me 65 at the most. hoping to get a little more from it till i get the money to repower it.

have another question for you guys. is a stock 200 2.4 block all that i can put back on these midsections or can i put 2 bridgeport drop ons on my midsections. thanks again
