I've never seen that boat, or even a picture of one. The only Allison tunnel I've ever seen wasn't similar. Darris had an outrigger lookin' boat at NOA kilos one year, but it wasn't related to that one. It's gotta be one of the coolest boats I've ever seen.

Boy............... talk about somethin' I'd love to have to put one of my OLD engines on.

How many different Tunnels or STV style hulls did Allison make through out the years?

I've only seen the Allison tunnel that has the wing between the forks of the sponsons. There is one up here, it's missing the wing and all the rigging, not in the best of shape, but really cool.

Nearly every V-boat maufacturer has borrowed and idea or design from Allison in my opinion... I HAVE NOT DRIVEN EVERY BOAT, but of the ones that I have driven, an Allison can be recognized even if you were behind the wheel blindfolded....

Yes, those Scotts would blow the doors off Mk58's ... 60 hp vs 40 hp ... the fair comparison is the 42ci Scott .... and yep again .... 42ci Scotts regularly wooped Mk58's, 450's and 500's. Merc dominance of E did not begin until Mac outboards were in their death throws
