They just reported 150 casualties but I think reports are still coming in. Also, one of the bombs did not go off and they found the cell phone detonation device which apparently they were able to trace to Al Queda.

This is a horribly tragedy, my thought and prayers are with all of yyou across the pond.

My apartment in London is only a 15-20 minute walk from Liverpool Street and Aldgate where one of the blasts on an underground train took place. I have travelled that route quite a few times.

All friends and colleagues are alive and well, though.

Maybe now the United Nations will stop pansy a""ing around and do something about this. Those groups need to be found and removed. I can't beleive with all the resources available from several countries that they continue to play games and draw this out. How many more people have to die before these groups are stopped. Everything is about political correctness. Once you start naming these groups the ACLU, and such, will start screaming. The ACLU announced today their new thrust at defeating the "patriot act" to make sure there is no "racial profiling" involved during security checking.
Good idea. Lets NOT look at 18-40 yr old middle eastern muslim men when you are checking for possible terrorists. Here in Canada it wouldn't matter, most of the airport security people would look right at home on an Al-Qeada recruiting poster.

racial profiling is a tool that can't be ignored in a case like this where so many lives are at stake - pretending there isn't a certain group that is MOST likely to commit this type of atrocity is just assanine.

The worst part here is the political heads that say that stuff like no profiling, let the gitmo prisoners go, etc....the people don't comdemn them, but turn around and vote them back in or continue supporting their organization (like the idiot congressman that spewed all the trash about gitmo being like the nazis/etc and then said he was sorry, though nobody at gitmo has died). Since when is political correctness an excuse to kill people? What about the mag that cited the riots, Businessweek(?), what happened to them and the 15 or whatever they got killed with their bogus story? Where are the human rights/aclu jack***es when that happens? What a bunch of two faced liars and the so-called news media rolls right along with them. Ever since the Iraq thing started the media has been roasting Blair for fighting terrorism, I bet you they forget all about that...dah, uh, ummm....the media can do no wrong even if they start trashing Blair again in a few days. I guess the agenda is worth more than lives.

Thanks for the well thought comments T-REX. Actions speak louder than words. Blowing up civilians and chopping off heads is all the proof I need to see what they are.
