    Tig welding tip

    Need to weld up a hole thats open on both sides or build up an edge try putting a piece of copper plate .050 or so thick to back it up and you can weld right over the copper with the aluminum rod and it will not stick to the copper.A welding guru at work told me to try this and it works exellent.

    yep thats the way we filled holes in the hotrod car days and it definately works
