I believe that boat is new was built this June or July, don't think it was set up for speed, more for skiing and tubing.

I have to disagree,I only had that happen when testing different props that wouldn't carry the boat on the pad, otherwise runs straight as an arrow.

Sorry but I have to disagree with u and agree with gm. When u start running big numbers in a 22 it will lay over on the drivers side and that's when it will pickup 1 or 2 mph.

Then I guess we have to agree to disagree, why you would want to run any pad bottom boat that "lays over on it's side" is beyond me.My 22 ran best of 94 mph and ran straight on the pad,I personally would be uncomfortable running the boat laying on its side.

All I know from experience is once the boat leans over it picks up speed. My red boat went 94.3 which you have to remember it's a non vacuumed bagged boat. No light weight seats and the gas tank was further up. And the biggest thing I was running a 3 blade lighting et. So if you gave me a newer setup I'd bet I'd get over a 100.

I was going to hang a yamaha 250 then I went for a ride in a 24ld with 300 proxs w/ jack plate
and realized that was a wrong choice.
Kevin had it @ 74.7 with 28' prop
    I am running a 25' now and it's good for 68+
Whether or not I can hold that speed is another thing. Iam good for about 64mph all day
pics otw (no jack plate) no trim tabs. getting tabs over winter
    thanks

Mine laid on its side real bad, i got tired of it and added tabs. Best $ I ever spent and with the added weight on the pass side she flies straight now.

It is all about set up,and how you plan to run the boat.It makes no sense to run the boat any boat for that matter "laying on one side of the pad". If you look at my youtube video of my 22 there isn't mush of the pad in the water to create drag, and is running straight as an arrow. My 22 always ran straight with one or two people once it was up on the pad. Also my boat was set up at Progression. Also sorry to get off topic, but set up,set up,set up, just sayin.

I'm gonna keep quite on this one. If that's what u think, u are right but numbers don't lie and nobody has ever passed my red boat and that's a proven FACT. Let me setup ur 22 and let me drive it and bet I'll go 3 to 4 mph faster then u. I will be working on setup next summer on my yellow 1990 22 to hurt people feeling so I guess we will have to see when my boat get together.
