All the inline powerheads interchange as far as bolt pattern from 73 foward, but.......................... there's never been an inline powerhead rated 150 HP at the propshaft.

Try search, there is a bunch of I6 threads. In general for '73 and after inline: if you have a 140-150hp or you have an '83 up 115; you have nearly the same hp/powerhead. So if you have an older 1150 like a 1977, then the 150/140 will go a little better.

older 115 is essentially a newer 90 hp. later 115 is essentially an older 140 powerhead. essentially but not identical. but the 150 was ported differently with extra ports in lower piston skirts. this is a small motor. 99 ci. 150 is 1.5 hp per cubic inch. to make that power it has to rev. a 90 pulls better at everything but wide open throttle. and it is unwise to run 50 year old motors at WOT. the 90 is about the best all around ToP. the 150 is like a 450 hp Z28 302. it will keep up with a 450 hp 440 mopar of big block chebby, but barely. you want 150, get a v6. 150 is an underpowered V6. but 100 lbs heavier than a tower. and no, it won't fit on an I6 mid... netherlands. that is different. hard to find american stuff over there...
