    22 activator 300 pro max?

what kinda numbers u think a properly set up 22 activator with a 300 pro max would put down? or is there a better setup for that hull?

    300 pro max

How about comments about the most bang for the buck. What is the best retail price for a 300 pro max and its performance vs the cost and performance of some other choice (2.5 ???). I am looking at similar issues with a different hull. Thanks

Thats a great point. I too am weighing the I/O--- O/B thing. It seems that the 300 Promax is the Hi/Per. engine of choice right now.

From what I have learned you can buy (new) 2- 200hp carb engines for less than the cost of 1- 300 pro max (or 3-200's for way less than 2- 300 PM's) Any guesses as to what the performance differences would be?

Now put a 300 promax or 300x on that boat and you will be turning that Honda in for scrap Aluminum.

    honda

It goes with out saying you have never driven a boat with a honda 225. it doesent make the most power or weigh the least . but it is a great motor. better than any small bore 200 o 225 merc i have ever ran. the mid rang power is great.

    Cool

Actually I have driven a boat with a 225 Honda. It was on a 20 foot Charger bass boat, and I thought that it was a stone slug coming out of the hole. Mid range was decent but top end it ran out of balls again. I would take a 225 pro max over it any day.
    Just my opinion
    Travis
