mark 5 ?
one at a flea market seems to have good compressin in reasonable condition for 150. considered 100. sale is over tomorrow. any input would be appreciated. fun out
most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

Great motor, but check the lower unit. These and the mark 6 had gears of glass, also the gearcase was prone to splitting. Lots of these engines around and they do run nicely and are light. 100 would be okay if the engine is running and gears are oka. Otherwise if you check ebay you can often find a restored one for 300 - 400

fun, keep looking. you can usually find them in the $30-75 range needing a little tweaking. I sold two on eBay last year for $75.
There seems to be alot of them around still...Jason
