Cleaver rake question
I have noticed that when a cleavers pitch is past the 30" mark, the rake increases (don't know if this applies to all cleavers).
I was wondering how much bow lift is created by this extra rake?
I am running a 29" SRX and I am out of rpms. Will a 32" cleaver make less bow lift than my stock SRX?

I don't know how much more bow lift you will get with a given amount of additional rake. Rake does tend to give more bow lift, but I can tell you a cleaver with it's thick trailing edges, low cup and generally low rake will give stern lift, and won't give much bow lift. An SRX gives decent bowlift...much more than most cleavers.

Thanks for your replies. I dare not make a prop myself.
I guess I should have been a little more clear. The 30" Merc cleavers have less rake then the 32". How much difference in bow lift?

Rake = Bow lift. No question about that. The more the rake the more power that is used to lever the bow. Most tunnels don't require the extra rake for bow lifting as the hull naturally lifts.
Stick to low rake on most light O/B Rockets
