Merc Serial Number, Bringing Boat back to Canada
Could one of you please look up a serial number for a 2.4 150 1990 merc. Im looking at buying this boat with that motor on it, hopefully this deal will go through this time. It sounds ligitiment but im driving a long way to buy this boat. If I have the trailer papers, are there any others I need to bring a boat back from SC to canada. Im hopefully going this weekend, are there any of you I could call, cause its a lot faster then, scream and fly . Thanks

What is the engine Sr#? If you are talking about buying a boat in South Carolina, their are no papers on the trailer. SC dosen't title the trailer. You could get a bill of sale, or the owner might have a statement of origin. SC does title the engine, so I wouldn't be to worried about it being stolen if the owner has the title.
