    Paint & Graphic ideas...

GREEN! I hate green... unless it's on paper. Scanning though issues of HotBoat, PowerBoat, S&F and OSO, I can't seem to find anything that will work with my exisiting paint scheme, sooo... I'm asking asking for your opinion! I'd like to add some blue to offset all this green. Not sure where I'd add it, or in what form, but I'm hoping after a couple of drinks, I might conjure up something that rivals a grade schooler with crayons!

No Doubt! Randy's boats should be hung on a wall. Absolute works of art!

    Interior- Go all white.
If you must have some color, go with red and black. And go sparingly. Those colors never go out of style.

    Don't paint it, do vinyl.

For the reasons you're posting above.

    Paint is forever.
Trends with colors and schemes come and go.
Graphics can be changed with the trends.

He is by far the best price, best quality, best turn-around I know of when it comes to vinyl graphics.

Are the graphics on the side of the boat in the gelcoat?

Sure are a lot of teal bezels on the dash too.

I think you should just get a pink shirt and some white loafers and leave the boat alone. And insist on everyone calling you "Crocket".

Two years ago, back when I lived in Ohio, I needed registration numbers and some graphics done.
I lived in Columbus, Ohio, pretty big city, (a hair over 1 million people now), plenty of sign shops to chose from. No problem, right? Wrong.

I called seven shops, as well as e-mailed them with my design and font I needed. My home and business e-mail and phone numbers included as well.
    I got zero response.
The people I talked to acted like it was no problem, just send the e-mail in .bmp format.
I follow up with all seven. None follow up with me.
Get pushed to the side by all.
I call three other shops recommended to me by this board and another board, (none of these shops being the one you stated above).
The only shop I get any response from is Kinetic Animation. It was immedeate response too.
He is a fellow boater as well.
He knew exactly what I wanted, did it better than I would have ever dreamed of, and had it on my doorstep in less than a week.
Mind you, I was in Ohio, he is in Florida.

He has since done more for me and will always be the guy I go to and recommend to all.

Do a search on Offshore Only or here on "Ryan Beckley" or "Kinetic Animation" and you will see nothing but praise.

He is very familiar with updating outdated graphics on boats too!

He did a 24 Skater a while back that turned out awesome.

I'll let these pics speak for themselves...

Graphics is graphics same software, same font, difference is in materials and $$$$.

Lets see the TWENTY years I have lived in FLORIDA. He is the best I have used so far.

I will let his price and quality speak for themself. Like I said, call the others, then call him and see what ya get. Phone calls are cheap. I personally have known this person for 10 years,I did his first sign with him when she started his company. When shops were folding all over, he was expanding. You figure that one out

His name is Mike Cecala, he will treat you right, or anyone needing graphics. Race cars, trucks, trailers, planes ultra light ice rink billboard....been ther done that. It is your choice but a smart consumer shops for the best value.

Here is his WEB SITE so you can take a look

Keep in mind graphics aren't forever paint is, and when it's time to remove those graphics trust me you'd rather have your arms chewed off by hungry, rabid rats.

I'd just paint over the existing gel work with a big solid color stripe, with some other colors to accent it. Like LMV said, good colors are always in style. so are basic stripes, if you paint it in some wild graphic/flame/scallop/shredded looking paint scheme it'll be really cool for a day until it's not anymore. then your expensive paint job is done and if you did it in vinyl then your done. I'd rather sand than peel and get off glue goop.

also, I've never tried it, but have an article about anodizing.
says you can remove the existing color and go back to aluminum or change the color. Looks easy and cheap, for your bezels.
