Has anyone tried one of those $30 car jumper packs for a 2nd battery & 24v? I had a cell die in my regular battery and ran a boat all summer with one on the bad battery. I was thinking of running two and no battery....I like the power guage on it and flashlight/power plug too. Easy to remove with the handle also. Would be hard to run two for 12v and 24v at the same time though. Just an idea.
Very nice ride, and great pics!

Hey Forkin!
I second the chicken chit call.
You know you gotta boat.
I was gonna leave the stream at home and bring tha alumny boat to whip some Starcraft ass.
BTW - I wired my trolling mota to 36V but I don't wanna give away all my secrets.

Some guy at our lake has an alumy boat like that, maybe 17' with a 115 V4 I thinks. He pulls tubes a lot, then the other day I saw him wring it out. That thing must have been 2' or less in the water

Set up ??
Hey Gary ,
Glad to hear that she's workinn good for ya. Mount it 1/2" above the pad and then learn to drive it . If you still need that much neg. trim that you are runnin in the pic's you seem to have a bit too much set back.
Good luck.
Jeff

running into 15 MPH head wind and chop running between 6" and 2'.
Trim was so slow, I couldn't compensate for aerodynamic hull lift afetr stomping the gas.
I'd start with neg trim, let the hull build lift at speed and then start poking buttons.
I know thwe motor needs to come up. Left it low to break in.
Fullthrottle, I've heard. G-Train is even bringing a pontoon boat from your (Michigans) private stash
Backfire, have'nt heard from "ShowTime" from, last year. I have also heard that he is working on a top secret leathal weapon but have no idea if he is coming back to do battle at this years Rumble??I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

A Vector drives a bit different than a V-King/Viking. I'll let you drive it yourself when I see you at this years Rumble!!

Sorrydog, well at least I have one that sides with me!
And to think the Instantgator is scared of poking a few holes in his motor. He was not scared when he made his stringers!
BTW nice boat (the one on the right)!
You better have a bad ass alumy boat to keep up with mine. 48.6 on the GPS with two people and a case of beer in the ice chest! I don't think anyone believed me until I ran the car boat in Shreveport.

How funny, i was looking on the net researchin pics of dome shapes last night and found a pic that showed as looper head i cut in half to see how thick it was back when we were both building the first 3.0 s, the link sent me back to SF and i found myself lookin at a bunch of pics i had posted years ago . I bet you wish you had the vector right now, simple and fast. Dave
