Not what you asked but the Aeromarine prop program is real nice. It's a lot better than any of the online calculators. Change one item and keep all the others without refilling them out.
Not too bad on price. I think it's worth it.
The RPM is a slider so you can just keep bumping it up to see the result. Shows both calculated and slip speed. You select the slip %.'90 STV

Thanks Techno
...Thanks for good words. The new upgraded (version 2.8) PropWorks2 calculator is even better than the original! We've had allot of great feedback from users...and added some of their suggestions...we've added a detailed database of over 750 engines from all the manufacturers, so you can easily retrieve the specs of your engine by just clicking on it. (For example, max RPM and gear ratio is automatically loaded for you). All the rest of the software operation works the same as it always has. And we're happy to hear suggestions from the users for improvements!
UPDATE: We have now (Feb/2009) added all of the 2009 engine specs to PropWorks2.Last edited by Jimboat; 03-29-2009 at 08:30 AM.

Greg - thanks. Was that the show that I did with Mark Rotharmel and Fred Kiekhaefer? It was fun to do. Wish it had been longer tho'.
