    400R vs. 400R Carbon Edition

Does anyone know the actual differences between the two other than cosmetics? Specs look to be identical. Prices? Is there a real world weight difference?

Mercury always amazes me. Charge more for white... Mercury must assume OMC guys need to pay more for a Merc to look like an OMC. LOL

In Florida, the going rate for a new(or used) large Mercury engine color change, at the local rig shop, to a different solid color, that you see on all the big center console boats, etc., is $3,000.00 per engine. They all pay it. Normal down here.

The white Verados are just the plastic covers. They can be disassembled in 10 minutes.

The different colors I'm refering to, are all the different "custom" solid colors that people want, on the many multi-engine larger boats down here & throughout the caribbean, etc. Hundreds of them.

If you can afford a boat like this with five 400R's, you can afford a paint job.
