Hard to believe the interior looks to be in good condition. My brother bought a new Vector in 78 and the interior looked the same as yours, always liked the original back to back seats..

I agree JP as that is one of the reasons I bought it, as I mentioned before I don't beleive that it was stored outside and all the vinyl is good(except for a couple rips in the front seats that I addressed and will show later) If they had mounted the speakers under the dash where they belonged I would not have covered it! I have really a resto-mod going here as you will see.

So as to what I did to it as he has asked me to chime in.115-140 ports ex - int ports squared off, they are really pretty big.1982 ish 140 high comp heads, scalloped pistons and cylinders, cut intake front half, opened up reed blocks with boyesen dual stage reeds, cut exh chest and opened up exh outlets with NO EXH STUFFERS installed.1-3/8 carbs 68 jet mains I think that or they are 67s. Factory tuner cut to 8 inch and of course tuned bubble back exh plates , dry stacked. That pretty covers it except for some odds and ends my old brain can't remember must be the CRS syndrome haha.

ID:	397744 The finished dash has Auto Meter Marine Carbonfiber faced guages. 5 in Tach 3 in Speedo and the rest are 2 5/8 as my I sight isn't gettin any better! I put a "O ****" bar in for anyone foolish enough to ride with me and the trim switch is a "blinker" type on the steering . Racervboat sent me the shifter with the mota ....I like the T handle as it reminds me of my street car days. A friend who owns the marina I use (I'm also building his house) gave me a OMC control box of the same vintage. I'm using the key switch( with push to prime) and the wiring harness that plugs into the mota. The tether kill switch stops both the mota and the electric fuel pump with one unit.

ID:	397747I like working with any material except wood and sheetrock as I do that every day! I found a small 24lb 450cca battery at Wally World . Cut and bent up some aluminum to build a hold down system for it. I like to do mock ups before I install my creations in the boat which I'll post later. BTW This battery fires up my 351ci Bronco as good as any I've used in the 33 yrs I have owned it....how long it lasts is another story!
