    This has tested my patience

This LCB project has tested my patience but its finally coming to reality. There has been more structural additions and changes made (for my personal liking) to this little hull then most could imagine. I just added up the total man hours for body and glass work at 477 including the ten today. I sure hope it runs as good as it looks right now. These pictures are with the first coat of epoxy sealer applied by Doug Harrel tonight. The color layer process starts tomorrow (finally). It would never have gotten to this point without Rustem, Scott, Quinton, Gil, Doug, Shane, Abe, and Ceaser (thanks to all) for your help and efforts. I want to say that I am shooting for River Ranch but still have a long ways to go and don't want to jinx it.

Look at it this way. Anything truly good takes extra time and effort. (And that beautiful boat took tons of both.) What you're going to end up with is a truly one of a kind boat with better performance than any of the originals. And it will be more reliable to boot! I'm going to go way out on a limb and suggest that when you're out in it this summer - and for many more summers to come - you'll have a huge smile on your face and will tell everyone it was well worth the time and effort. Keep up the good work!

I will weigh it next week after all of the paint is done but I am guessing 1200 Lbs. It started at 1025 and everything that was added is 3/4 airex bagged carbon and epoxy. I added two forward bulkheads to support the deck lines which were drastically changed, four side bulkheads, side floors outside the fronts seats, a front and rear console, deleted the old style Euro lift seat and ran a full rear bulkhead that is tied into the knees. We also built a hatch for the rear buckets and console to rest up against. The bottom had very little weight added but everything is now straight and sharp. The rest is 545 primer, awlcraft, epoxy sealer, and final paint. If it doesn't run decent then there is a plan "B".

Looking Good. I have to get some Pics of my boat down to Doug next week when it warms up so he can get me a few paint schemes made up for me.
