    Hydraulic steering for promax?? Which is best??

    I have A 2000, merc promax 300. Looking for a hydraulic steering system rated for 300hp Andy body have preference and experience?

    I have and like the sea star pro system. When bled properly, it has nearly zero slop and does a good job of handling the torque of a surfacing motor. There is the u-flex system also that some have been using with good results. If you expect 90 plus speeds a side steer cylinder system is a good idea. Lot more heavy duty.

    Running a 300 Promax along with the Seastar pro system on my Challenger. It's a great system, very happy with it.

    SeaStar or UFlex are 2 good affordable systems that will do the job.
    I would suggest the HC6345 cylinder if you go with SeaStar.
