    Greetings from Wyoming!

Hey there everyone and thanks for adding me here at S&F. While I am not new to the boating scene I have been out of the realm for quite a while. Well now I am getting back into and I'm jumping in the deep-end so to speak. We will take delivery of our new project boat on or about Feb 15th.

I came across a decommissioned USMI built ex Navy SEAL HSB and I could not pass it up We will start a thread somewhere for our project and keep y'all updated as we go....

    Thanks again,

    Pyro Chuck

I used to drive these, it was called a Halter, Made by US Marine. Send me your number and I can send you a lot of pictures of these. I was in the TEAMS from 86 to 96, this was the 4th GEN HSB. Good boats, took a beating for sure.

That would be sweet, can you email them to WyomingMudRacing@yahoo.com please? If not I can send my number no biggie but on old flip phone so pain in the arse to do pics and such LOL I don't know why they were and still are called Halters actually. I have received an e-mail from Halter Marine saying they did not make them, but it seems everywhere I look online they are being called that. Navy Veteran here as well but not a SEAL or anything of the sort but when I saw this boat I had to have it

    Thanks,

Hey thanks, by far the most excted I've been in a long time about a project here, it will be a blast I am sure. I have not measured it in person as of yet only saw it once and briefly at that but everything I can find on it for specs tells me 39' long with a 9' beam. One guy I have been talking to has one the same thing and he had his weighed when stripped and it scaled in at 7500lbs. Kevlar/foam/Kevlar hull. It is my intentions to strip it down and rebuild/reconfigure for fishing and fun.

    Thanks,

    Pyro

Do you know what it weighs, If its not made out of concrete, a pair of big outboards will put on top ... Fishing & Fun, why not.
If you're gonna chase STV's you better go for 3. ;-)

I have been talking with a guy here in TX that is refurbing one he has his weighed stripped out (no motors/drives/etc) at 7500lbs. AGreed on the twins should be enough to go out fishing and play some but certainly won't be chasing any go-fast boats by any means LOL
