Reverse gear spacer fatshaft torque master

Ok, you l/u gurus. I'm replacing a fat shaft on a 3.0l torque master. The reverse gear spacer is damaged slightly and doesn't come off old shaft. I ordered a new spacer to find it doesn't slip over splined section either. Looks like it's correct and would fit on the lower section with the smaller I/D of shaft, just won't go over larger splined end. My question is do you heat it or something to make it larger so it'll go over splined area or am I loosing my mind and not get the right spacer? Or both?

To answer my own question in case others run across this. The fatshaft torque master for 3.0 liter part number for the reverse gear spacer is 23-824108-1, they sent me a 23-824108 without the 1 on the end and this is the standard small shaft spacer.

Yeah lol, I looked it up again and realized the price on the part # I looked up was about $40 higher than the one I recieved and figured something had to be wrong . It still bothers me old one still don't come off old shaft though, hope it's just out of round a little from catastrophe. We'll see next week. If it don't go over splines out comes the heat

Speaking of spacers , can off-road or fx4 front ifs be converted to coil springs or coil overs from the torsion set up ? Thanks mike

I've never done one, i think Rock Krawler makes a kit, but ain't cheap and couldn't actually find one when I searched. All you would need would be a coil over strut to replace the stock shock with I would think and remove the torsion bar. I don't see why not with a little fabrication and modification. What you up to anyway, wanting to do that? Need to get that mota built and get us a good riding group together so we can break in these new ticking time bombs
