Mercury Lab Cleaver question - to recheck or not to recheck

I understand the Lab job in terms of thinning blades and balancing and individual blade pitch & rake measurements but all that said, how close are the Mercury "standards" on a lab propeller compared to sending it to a prop shop for verification?
I recently ordered a new lab cleaver from Mercury and was debating if I should send to a aftermarket shop like BBlades or whoever to ensure its exact. I assume Mercury has a pretty good QA/QC program but when things are mass produced you always wonder.

Mercury generally does a pretty decent job of manufacturing new propellers. And a labbed high performance prop gets even tighter scrutiny. But you're pretty much stuck with what comes out of the box with them.

The advantage of sending one to somebody like BBlades - in addition to the fact that Brett used to do a good deal of their high performance work - is that they can take it to the next level and / or customize it to your particular application if it doesn't work perfectly right out of the box. I've been very happy with their work.

I wouldn't sent it off without running it first.

there standards are actually fairly tight.... The thing with going to an shop like BBlades... Mertens... Performance Propeller. They all have their own take and versions and thoughts on how to make something work. Most even used to work at merc and omc at some point in there career.
