Cleaver prop. Used for stern lift and top end speed on a very light hull. Poor holeshot.

Kiekhaefer AeroMarine/Mercury(if thats a little "K" embossed at the base of that one blade) for TRS Sterndrives, 1'' shaft "Sport Cleaver". Produced by Mercury in the 70's and into the 80's. Its been reworked slightly, possibly by Mercury, after it was tested on the customers boat, to dial it in better, for his application. When you hit something, the MercTrans or Borg-Warner 72-C transmission, ahead of the TRS drive, could intentionally slip momentarily, saving prop and/or propshaft damage. Hence, the solid hub prop design for the TRS.
