    1990 johnson 200 inner exhaust housing replacement/breakage

    2 part question..
1- the inner exhaust housing on my 1990 johnson 200 gt developed a "hole" in the upper part , about the size of a quarter/half dollar. dont know why but all the pieces were sitting on the water pump. im thinking this may be why my power was down???? anyone seen this before?
2-looking for a replacement. the "exact" housing per omc is different than say a later one from a 92+.........the 92+ ar eway more common and much cheaper. anyone know if they will swap? any benefit to a newer one? they run different part #s so there somne difference?
