I'm not affiliated with this company, but MasterTech Marine in Milton FL offers a dual diaphram pump to replace vro pump that looks real nice..... If I had not already installed the carter p4070 at my Tank I would have tried it out. A bit pricey @$168, but if you want to stay with a pulse type pump, Looks like an answer many people are looking for. On another
topic, do any of you guys that run elec. pumps on outboards get any flack from the law, or coast guard? I got a Mechanic around here that said I'd get a HUGE fine for gong elec. I have it coming off the key switch through my safety cut off switch to a relay powering the pump.

you have a pressurised fuel line inside the boat, the USCG doesnt like that.
Hence all the non race outboards have the vst setups on the engine.
I am not sure of what your insurance company would make of that.

It is a hydrostream Drag set up. Looks like I'm not the only one with the pump in the boat. Also I'm on a small lake/river system in the sticks, haven't seen the law on the water since I moved from Ft. Lauderdale FL 15yrs ago. There you get three safety inspections from three different agencies between the ramp and the ocean....I was just curious if the guys who run in those heavily regulated areas had problems..... But thanks for your comment.
