Upholstery Skins
Doing a winter project on restoring a Fountain 25CC. Getting down to the upholstery. Boat has a fair amount, bolsters all around the interior, quite a few cushions. I have recovered many a motorcycle seat, and jet ski seat, with custom pre-made skins. Got the correct staple gun and ss staples. Found a place in Florida called Copycat that will duplicate all the skins. I do all the removal send them the old skins and re-install myself. All the backing is in great shape. I think I can save a fair amount of cash, and do more of the work myself. Any suggestions on this? Has anybody here tried Copycat? Anybody know of a company besides Copycat that provides a service like this? Any suggestions-opinions greatly appreciated.

if your going to be taking the material off, then why not buy material and cut it yourself to patterns you have, this would save even more.
the hardest bit is making the patterns if you dont have them.

Use stainless staples. Your right: you'll save a bunch by doing it yourself.
