This is a full scale mountain howizter with a prairie carriage,bore reduced to 3 inches.It should fire a six pound ball 1000 yards at five degree elevation.

Will do,I have a 3000' air strip that should do well.Im reading that a good artillery man should be able to hit a car door at half mile with a smooth bore cannon.Dont believe it,but have seen numerous articles claiming it was the norm in 1865. We will see! Utube seems to back up the claims,much more accurate that what I would have thought.

Started a couple weeks ago with some white oak that I been drying for a couple years,but it's still at 29% moisture.So I figured I better get it into some smaller pieces.Just finished the axle housing today.The 2" steel axle will be next.It is to get 1 1/2 degrees camber.
