Hi there, i have a 97 mercury promax 225, the ECU has failed so i am converting to carbs, i have a set of WH15's to bolt on but need to know what would be the best 12volt fuel pump or the required fuel pressure i would need so i can retrofit a pump?

Send the ECU to Dennis Hoffman, he can repair it cheaper that the cost of the carb swap and the headaches that go along with carbs.

But to answer the actual question, Holley red or a carter and a return style regulator.
4-5psi.
I’d find carbs off a 245 2.5, the pm is closer in porting to a 245 than the 200 the wh-15’s came on
