Also, mark the reservoir at the oil level and let the motor run about 15 - 20 minutes and check the level again to see if the oil system is working.

Capt Insane-O thanks so much appreciate the heads up.Especially the Fuel pump! There local for me out here in CA so I’m able to drive and pick it up. Vst tank cleaned up well have most of the crud gone. Which has me concerned about the fitting for the oil mixture line. Exactly how does it work? I mean when gas is inside of the vst no gas leaks out. So I’m thinking it’s clogged from the crud, although I don’t see any crud in the fitting. Some light shined on this matter would be great

It has a spring loaded check valve in it to keep the oil from filling the vst. Judging by the build up I'd carefully clean or replace it.

Some people ask why do you drain the VST for storage? Your pic is a perfect example.

Also drain the oil tanks, probably full of sludge too......

For some reason all of my old 3.0 EFI'S have had the hose from the top bearing to the bottom crank case fitting go bad first. Way before the others. May be heat related? Or, because it's the hardest one to get to? Ha ha
