That little blue filter? The twats at merc were charging $424 dollars the last I looked for one. I'm pretty sure it was sourced through Yamaha, which is where I ordered one for a little over $20.

Pump is working. Decided to put vst back on block to
Secure it to remove phillips head screws to remove
Top cover. And decided to try the harness with key and pump came on. So im thinking about running Sea Foam through or berryman b12 injector cleaner.
I was going to pre mix oil with it as well from seperate container. Thing is how do you prime the
Oil from the reservoir to get it to the brass fitting underneath the Vst. I have the seperate oil container
But not the oil lines they have been cut

the original oil lines to the engine for the oil is a double line, one line is air pressure from the engine and the other is oil fed to the reservoir on the engine. So long as the reservoir on the engine is attached and the oil lines in place, just fill the reservoir with oil to run it on the hose. I would mix the test tank gas with 50:1 just in case the oil system is not working on the engine. Also, I'd use a spray bottle and spray in a oil/fuel mix into the cylinders and roll the engine by hand to get oil on the cylinder walls before start up. do the same into the air intake while cranking without the plug wires attached.

No where. The line that is cut goes to the tank in the boat which has two hoses mated together. The other line goes to a check valve on the other (starboard) side of the motor. One of the hoses will have a blue line on it. That goes to the tank on engine.

That cut hose is half of the double line I mentioned earlier.... other hose in the double line goes to the mentioned check valve on the block (air pressure) The bare nipple stays with nothing on it. you don't need that hooked up just to test run it, just fill the bottle with oil. Once on the boat, either hook up the big tank with the double line or eliminate the oil system all together and premix the gas.

Replace the plastic hoses that go from the oil tank to the pump, and from the pump to the vst. I can tell by the color they are petrified and ready to break. The little phillips screw just above the outlet fitting on the pump is the bleed screw. Once you get it fired up loosen the screw and let it bleed out until the bubbles stop.
