Trying to find a 'shortie' drive shaft for my 81 V6 3.4 300HP-The merc P/N IS : 14880T -note-[they called it a 'long-an they called the long shaft "extra long'..... so its just the 'long 1 i want-if you have 1 of these please pm me-HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL

There was one on E bay..... the whole gear case. $600 good price and the newer style....

I Dont think it was ever modded-its just a stock 1981 3.4 300hp-ive allready got 2 xtra long good lowers- I wanna convert 1 to make a "shortie'-as im thinkin bout mountin the engine on a 18 ft exciter i just picked up

I was asking ocean outboard if his shafts was stock or off shore. Hence are they cut at the top. Do you have the short exhaust housing?
