Quick Disconnect
Hello all,
I'm looking for a high quality quick disconnect fittings for a Merc 90HP/portable 6 Gal tanks. The "new" merc hose and disconnects are complete garbage, they leak and become stuck after one season. The old merc twist locks were the best IMO..
Thanks

I've started using Jiffy-tite connectors -- with and without check valves available.

RogerH,
Thanks for the reply.. The Jiffy-tite quick disconnects are amazing quality, not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

lots of new tank quick disconnects are rubbish , you have to spend to get the food stuff.
I like the look of those jiffy - tite connectors.
but the price is scary

Use genuine yamaha connectors, they are good quality and intercange with merc/mariner.
