New to the site
Hello Folks I have been prowling about on this site for a bit and figured its time to register. My name is Karl Kostman and I am from Fargo ND and own a house on Star Lake in MN, I currently have a Lund fishing boat and a pontoon, I grew up on a lake in the Detroit Lakes area and have owned boats all my life, generally all out boards and I/O type boats. Now I want to dive in and get going on buying and learning all there is to know about a Jet boat, and YES this sounds very easy right? OF COURSE NOT! After reading tons of information I have ideas on the basics. Hull around the 20 ft length, BBC for power making between 500 to 600 HP and I want a Berkely pump, this seems to be a pretty standard setup from all I have been reading. EVERYTHING after this I have nothing but questions about!
If you guys have any good clues on a good boat that matches this starting point I am ready to buy!
If you folks have any question son Military trucks I know a fair bit about that subject and would be happy to assist anybody with questions!
I look forward to this new adventure!
Thanks
Karl Kostman
