Fun run this Saturday in central FL.
The weather forcast is perfect for boating and there should be a decent size group for this months run. Always cool to listen in on the discussions of some of these old school racers and see some of their boats. If you have not been on this chain of lakes, this is a great opportunity to see them and not have to worry about unknown hazards.
Looking forward to Saturday A.M.

Thanks to Bill for organizing this lake and lunch tour. The water and weather could not have been better. It was nice to meet some new people and do some running on the beautiful harris chain. The lakes were all like glass today other then minimal boat activity. Blue sky and 80 degree December boating (life is good ). I hope more people can make the first Saturday in January to do it again.

I don't know what the name of the place is but it is pictured above. They have several slips and there were sea planes landing and taking off out front. It was not in Tavares (they still have no docks).

That boat is beautiful. I don't know how fast it is but I was able to keep up with pretty much everyone there. Great day-

Which ramps do you use? I favor the Eustis ramp tucked in off Lakeshore Drive but I have no idea what shape everything is in since the storms. Never been a fan of the Tavares ramp off 441.
