    Miami Marine Stadium BlowOvers...

    A couple of the best quality blowover shots of the infamous Miami Marine Stadium, taken by James Jost, then current PR Manager at Evinrude, via his motor driven Nikon FM, 80-200 Nikkor, & Kodak Tri-X...

    Are you sure these two are the ones Jim took? He did get the whole sequence with great quality but these two, I don’t think are his. I could be wrong though.

    I believe he had four sequence shots total. This is simply two of the four.

    I was there as well, sitting roughly where these pics were shot from. Yes, it was intense. Ten or so years later I was at Reggie's house and he had a full set of enlarged prints hung on the wall. One of our group filmed it on 8 mm and sent it to him to be converted into videotape.

    WOW...that first pic ture, is me and JOHN KENYON in the patrol boat..20' SEACRAFT...I remember it well...there was a series of ten photos from a motion picture that I had the prints of...JOHN has them now, JAN WHITTEN from POWERCRAFT BOATS han them in his shop as you walked in his showroom Jan ran a SST120 back then...bless his sole....that SEACRAFT..ABRAXIS is in my possesion now with a 2.4 200 on it now...brings back fond memories of the coolest racing at the MARINE STADIUM...thanks

    Anyone have any information regaurding the 575 boat ? I know its a Baja did they run many and how did they perform ON the water ? Just picked on up for a restoration ...Name on it is Jumping Jack Flash ? Thanks

    The other drivers as I recall were Danny Piggott and Harry Kerslake. I believe Kerslake was in the Baja. But I may be wrong. Been 40some years.
