225 Pro Max Powerhead
This is a 1998 Mercury 225 Pro Max powerhead complete. On my compression gauge cylinders are all right around 125 lbs cold. A few years ago I lost #5 cylinder. #5 was sleeved at Rucks. Idle stabilizer caused #5 timing to spike. It has been removed along with the oil injection. #5 combustion chamber has some peppering but does not affect performance. Motor has .044 Wisecos thru out, steel rod bearings. Injectors done by Brucato a couple years back. Motor runs great. It pushed my 380 Laser mid to high 80's at 7000 rpm's spinning a 29 SRX. Not sure on hours but maybe 100? It is a nice powerhead but I have a new boat coming with a 3.2 300xs and no longer need this. $3000.00 + shipping. I really don't want to ship but I will. I could also meet someone part way if interested. Thanks
