So here it is--an absolutely practical boat (I love how you did the minimal side decks) and still ol' Mr. Instigator is fighting weight with a dam 35 on the back. Yah, yah, you have winch capacity issues -- sure. You just want a 60 mph tender!
Per Rock:
"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."
Per my hero Instigator:
"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."

Dave, I take great pride in educating my northern yankee neighbors about the Fla definition of cracker
They are are always in shock and I always end it with telling them to look up the town of Cracker Fla and "Cracker Days"
They both do, of course, exist.
For now
Oh yeah, 2 coats of varnish on the deck.
One more then time to move.
We closed on the new place yesterday and I stepped off one side of the garage at 30'.
As in, if the windshield clears, the new project will fit in the garage until the new shop is built.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

For seating, This old fl cracker would suggest a padded cooler for the motor man, and a couple of bean bags for the passengers. Boat is real nice....

For seating, been thinking one full length, center bench.
Kinda like a jet ski.
Side/side balance would always be correct, fore/aft would be set by ass (asses) location.
Would also be a great aid on keeping your ass in the boat.
Erie, where we have the cruiser is never smooth.
It is large fun to still run these little boats fast but you end up sitting on the floor to stay in the boat.
A center bench would give you something to squeeze w/you legs.
W/a traditional rear bench, you can't have it very far aft or the tiller hits the passenger.
3rd coat on deck and it gives on moth balls until we get settled in after move.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
